At this point EMDH: Japan has developed a substantial base of interest to begin pursuing an active membership list. Our goal for FY2016 is to establish a Working Group with a core membership. All workshops in FY2015 were open to the public.

Our current contact list is growing daily and as of this point we are engaged in trying to encourage the proper Japanese government agencies to gain a national subscription to EEBO-TCP.

In the months to come we have plans to engage our membership in digital projects and traditional presentations and publications. We do not plan exclusive or restrictive guidelines for membership, but we do think that those in Early Modern research (English or continental or cross-cultural studies) would best benefit from this coming association.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact us and give us a brief background and your own contact details.
